What do you mean by texting support?Texting support is highly interactive. I’m available to text with you from early morning to late at night, providing real-time assistance and guidance along the way. I offer timely and relevant education and answer all of your questions throughout our three days of working together. My goal is to empower you to feel confident in your child's sleep habits so you can navigate on your own once our program ends.
-
How long does it take for your program to show results? The time it takes for my program to show results varies depending on the sleep training technique you choose to implement. Some clients prefer a gradual approach, while others opt for a quicker method. However, most clients typically see improvements in just a couple of days!
-
What sleep training methods do you use?I use a variety of methods tailored to your baby and family’s needs, including the Modified Accelerated Approach, Accelerated Approach, Gradual Approach, and Modified Gradual Approach. The truth is, sleeping training is not only about sleep. As a Registered Nurse, I take into consideration the complex developmental process your child is going through. Together, we identify routines, rhythms, and behaviors to promote healthy sleep patterns, and learn to interpret cues such as recognizing when your child is hungry, tired, and overstimulated. We set up strategies that work for your family, ensuring your child learns to sleep independently in a way that feels safe and nurturing.
-
Do you provide newborn education?I do! While I do not sleep train newborns, I offer education on newborn sleep to establish a proper schedule that prevents overtiredness and naturally helps with nighttime sleep.
-
Can you connect to my baby monitor?Yes, many of my clients allow access to their monitors (e.g., Nanit) to help me assess their baby's behaviors, safety, and sleep schedules. This is not a requirement, and it’s also possible to send me video recordings of your baby’s monitor via text.
-
Can I extend texting support after completing the Premium Support Package?Yes, we can discuss extending texting support once the initial three days included in the package are completed. Pricing for the extension is based on your child's needs and age.
-
Can I sign up for the Premium Support Package after completing the Expert Strategy Session?Yes! If you sign up for the Premium Support Package within one month of completing the Expert Strategy Session, the price of the consultation is deducted from the Premium Support price. If you sign up after one month, another 1-hour video consultation is necessary to discuss current sleep issues.
-
Can I follow up with questions after completing your programs?Of course! Whether you need more guidance after the Expert Strategy Session or the Premium Support Package, we can schedule another call or communicate via email at the previously discussed price.
-
I’m worried sleep training is going to confine me to my house and I won’t be able to have a life. This is a common misconception. In fact, it’s entirely possible to have a well-rested child and a vibrant family life. With effective sleep training, your child will master the art of self-regulation, making it easier to stretch wake windows, shorten naps, and adapt to family plans without worry.
-
When is the best time to sleep train? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends sleep training at 4 months. However, I offer sleep training packages for children as young as 2 months old with approval from a pediatrician. We initially focus on daytime sleep, which naturally helps nighttime sleep. The best time to sleep train is when you find that your child's sleep habits are interfering with your family’s well-being.
-
What if my partner isn’t fully on board?Parent alignment is crucial for successful sleep training. I require both parents to be committed to the process before we begin, as consistency is key to achieving lasting results. When parents work as a team, supporting each other through the sleep training journey, their child adapts more quickly to the new routine.
